COVID-19 Pandemic Notice

We are proud of the local small business we have built in our community and are deeply grateful for your support as we weather this storm. We will be here for you when the world begins travelling again.

With the uncertainty around COVID-19 and current travel bans, we have been faced with some very difficult decisions. Hours in the clinic have been reduced but the following services are still available.

  •  If you would like to complete a consult over the phone to prepare for future travel we are here to provide that service. Call for an appointment.
  • Limited booster appointments are available for those that need to complete their vaccine series.
  • Flu shots are available free of charge until March 31, 2020. The influenza season extends until the end of April. We encourage you to be protected.
  • Now is a good time to consider your overall vaccination status: We are currently providing vaccine health assessments over the phone and updates on pneumonia, shingles and other primary vaccinations as requested.

Please stay safe and follow the guidelines of our public health officials don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Yours in Health,

Christina and the Travel Health Network Team.

Travel Clinic Opens in St. Albert

We are excited to announce that St. Albert residents now have their own travel clinic. The Travel Health Network will open its doors in October 15th and is looking forward to many years of helping St. Albert residents travel safely abroad.

The Travel Health Network is a designated yellow fever vaccination centre by the Public Health Agency of Canada and provides vaccinations and advice for individuals planning to travel abroad. Whether you are off on a relaxing trip in the Caribbean, backpacking through Asia, volunteering at an orphanage in Africa, or working in an oil and gas camp in the jungles of Peru, our travel clinic has you covered.

We are members of the St. Albert community and are looking forward to supporting local and international community efforts through partnerships and a volunteer spirit. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and we will keep you informed of our many exciting partnerships.
